    Tom Harpster started out as one of Armory Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT of Albany's many customers, but was prompted to put in an application with us by his service advisor.

    As they say, the rest is history.

    "I absolutely love what I do. The day to day challenges are exciting to me and I really take pride in satisfying our customers," said Harpster.

    The Albany native says his dream car would be a Dodge Charger Hellcat, but he's also a big fan of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. 

    His love of powerful engines and off-road prowess extends to his personal life, where he's an avid snowmobiler. He's a member of a couple snowmobile associations and the Salisbury Ridge Runners snowmobile club.

    There's a lot for Harpster to be proud of, but what does he think is his greatest accomplishment?

    "Somehow I managed to convince my lovely wife Justine to marry me."

    Paul Cassala has been with Armory Garage for more than 25 years.

    The Guilderland native was influenced by his family's long history with the car business to join it himself, and said he likes what he does because he gets to meet different people everyday. 

    Cassala said the thing that sets Armory apart is the fact that so many of our employees have been here for years, like him.

    For fun, Cassala likes to play sports with his two sons. He also coaches a little league baseball team.

    Marlon Hardie is a service advisor with Armory Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT of Albany.

    Hardie went to college to be an automotive technician, and said he loves what he does because he gets to work with a great group of people. 

    His favorite car on the Armory lot is the Chrysler 200S.

    For fun, Hardie can be found enjoying one of several sports including golf, tennis and soccer.

    He said his proudest accomplishment was being able to buy a house.

    AJ Erschen came into the car business 15 years ago. 

    The service advisor made his start with the help of his now brother-in-law.

    A Rotterdam native, he believes it's Armory Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT of Albany's employees that separate us from the other dealerships.

    Erschen said he likes to drag race for fun. When he's not screaming down the pavement, he likes to spend time with his proudest accomplishments: his children.

    Danielle Sagendorph has always been a car person, and that interest makes her a perfect fit for Armory's Service Department.

    "I love the mechanics and logistics of all vehicles."

    She believes Armory sets the bar for customer satisfaction thanks to our friendly atmosphere and the fact that so many customers keep coming back. In her free time, the Selkirk native likes to help out local firehouses and work with senior homes on fun night.

  • Dave Grinko
    Service Advisor

    Dave Grinko grew up watching his father restore old muscle cars, giving him a life-long passion for the automotive field that he's carried for the entirety of his more than 30-year-career. 

    It's that same passion that he brings into his current role as a service adviser for Armory Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT of Albany. The Capital District native says he joined Armory because the environment here is like an extended family and everyone knows how to work together as a team. 

    When he's not here, Grinko can be found spending time with his nephews, playing video games, riding ATVs or cruising around in his dad's 1970 Torino. He and his girlfriend also belong to a beagle rescue, and have added five of the furry companions to his family!
